Whew, what a month! June absolutely flew by this year, and it felt like so much was changing (in a good way).
Summer has definitely arrived here in the Pacific Northwest. I had my first paddleboard sesh, a few 85+ degree river beach days, plus some time at my friend’s pool! #blessed. My fave nervous system regulation practices are simply being warm around water <3
Some exciting news: we secured a new place to live! After 4.5 years in our current duplex, it’s time to move on. We’re most excited about our new location, but I’ll share more about that next month once we’ve actually moved.
Let’s get into the report!
June 2025 R.E.P.O.R.T.

R(reading)- “Beach Read” By Emily Henry
Welp, the time has come, and I read my first Emily Henry book! I’m still trying to decide what I think about it. It’s definitely a good book, and I know so many people LOVE her books, but it felt a little bit contrived in a way that was hard for me to let go of and relax into. Or, idk, maybe I’m just jaded and have a hard time with modern-day romance books (kind of like the MMC, Gus, lol).
E(eating)- ice cream!!
It’s that time of year when I’m eating ice cream as much as possible. One of my favorite places to go locally is Sugar Pine Drive-In - they always have unique flavors and toppings. Their hot fudge just hits DIFFERENT. My only gripe is WHY are they only open until 5?!? Devastating.
The other day I was in Detroit for my bestie’s wedding, and we hit up a classic Midwest soft serve place, and I got a flurry with cookie dough and sprinkles, and it was DELISH.
P(playing)- “Upstate” Playlist on Spotify
I’m loving this chill indie playlist for summer work and packing vibes. ‘Nuff said, just check it out if your music needs a bit of a freshening up!
O(obsessing)- Content Creation!
On the professional side of things, this month, I committed to going full send on shifting my content towards being more “influencer-style”/brand-friendly. Why, you ask? I’m starting grad school in the fall (master’s in counseling!! woo!) and am thinking that making content for brands would be a fun and sustainable way to pay the bills while I’m learning how to be a therapist in school. I’m not quitting coaching by any means, and I still LOVE it, but am hopeful to supplement my income from that with brand deals and other forms of content creation.
This month, I posted 3-5 times a day on Tiktok, daily on Instagram, and pitched myself to probably 100+ brands. I’m stoked to say I have several projects in the works!! I’m really having fun with it and excited to see where things go. Thank you so very much for your support! It means a lot, and I couldn’t do this work without you.
Also… Love Island USA. I have indeed been watching it daily. We all have our vices!!
R(recommending)- Needed Nutrition Sleep Powder
This month, Needed sent me their sleep and relaxation supplement, and I am OBSESSED. I’m caught between wanting to hoard it and wanting to use it every single night. I’ve never been a melatonin girl (weird dreams), but years ago, I used to take magnesium every night for digestion. Then I ran out of pills and stopped taking it I guess (???) but I’m so glad to say I’M BACK BABY.
Needed’s mix has magnesium, L-theanine, L-glycine, and chamomile. Check it out here and get 20% off with code EMMY20 ! (affiliate link)
Other discount/affiliate codes I have for you:
Wunderground Mushroom Coffee (that tastes SO good): Code EMMY15
The Embody Lab trainings for trauma-informed practitioners and healing resources: code EMMY
T(treating)- Trusting: The Process!
To be completely real, I was on a budget this month. Thanks to moving, bills were HIGH, so I did what I could to limit my spending, and I’m actually really proud of the results! So instead of the T in REPORT standing for “treating”, this month it’s gonna stand for “trusting”.
This month, I pulled the 7 of pentacles card TWICE when asking the tarot what I needed to hear about my career. From the Lindsay Mack Digital Guidebook, the 7 of pentacles card is…
“A call for patience around something that is on its way. A gentle reminder that things bloom and ripen exactly when they are meant to.”
When I pulled this for the 2nd time in a couple weeks, I was like “OKAY!!! Noted.” Since then, I’ve been doing my best to trust that things take time, despite how badly I want instant transformation and success.
Well, 2025 is halfway over! That is wild. I hope this month is soothing, joyful, and brings you sunshine and delight.
With hope and gratitude always,
Emmy
